Now married with 2 small children, Trevor Davies' life has been involved in sport from an early age. At secondary school in South Africa he played anything on offer, but ultimately specialised in Squash and represented South Africa at junior level. He then studied a Sports degree and taught sports at school level for 5 years. He founded Events International, Travel Collection's partner in South Africa, in 1995 and this Cape Town office still operates the groundwork for all sports & leisure tours to South Africa. Seeking a broader experience, he was recruited byKuoni Sport Abroad UK and worked there for 6 years, allowing him to travel to all our sports and tailor-made destinations on numerous occasions, and really develop his understanding of all of their unique characteristics. Events International acquired Suffolk based tour operation Travel Portfolio in 2005, and with its knowledgeable and experienced staff, this provided a great opportunity for Trevor to offer his expertise in the sports & leisure travel field to a much wider audience. Trevor's passion for sport and for travel shines through in all aspects of Travel Portfolio's provision.

Toni has been with The Travel Portfolio Ltd since January 2003 looking after all aspects of clients' finances. Her career has always been involved in banking and finance, in various different positions around her beloved Suffolk, from looking after farm accounts to a saddlery store. The travel industry has been a new challenge for Toni but one which she finds both challenging and rewarding.Out of work, Toni's life is taken up with "country pursuits" having been local Pony Club District Commissioner for fourteen years.

A former primary school Headteacher, Alf has been involved in travel for over 20 years and has travelled extensively all round the world. A keen sportsman and County standard rugby player in pre-professional days, Alf retains the enthusiasm but restricts his involvement now to the view from the grandstand. Alf has worked for several major long-haul tour operators over the years and is extremely knowledgeable about many destinations, particularly in Africa and around the USA.Still a keen skier, Alf has 2 boys aged 14 and 18 who fortunately share his love of travel though sadly not his passion for rugby!

Sam is based in Cape Town where she controls our South African operations. Travel has been Sam's passion since she began her career in 1992. Her wide ranging experience in the industry has incorporated spells in Business Travel, Leisure Travel and managing a tours department for a another, large, successful, South African Travel company. This has equipped her with a wide-ranging experience and skill set to enable her to provide the most interesting and unique itineraries to suit all requests. Sam loves top travel, her two favourite destinations being USA and Mauritius.She is an absolute sports fanatic, who loves watching rugby, cricket and tennis! Sam is a familiar and welcoming face in South Africa for many Travel Portfolio clients and looks forward to seeing many more of you in 2012 and beyond.
